Ballinteggart Stud

Was formed in 1985 with the aspiration of breeding and producing top class Irish horses and ponies. To further this aim, only top class stallions are selected with conformation, movement, soundness and athleticism being the prime factors for consideration.
To date Ballinteggart stallions have sired champions at: Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (Balmoral), Royal Dublin Society, Royal International Horse Show, Royal Windsor Show, The Horse of The Year Show as well as several All Ireland Champions.

Honeyhill Rosettes

Ballinteggart is also the home of Honeyhill Rosettes, which makes rosettes for shows and competitions throughout Ireland.

Cider

The most recent venture, still in its infancy, is cider making! The Armagh Cider Company Ltd is based at Ballinteggart and has just launched a new and innovative product into the Northern Ireland drinks market - Carsons Cider. Check out Armagh Cider for more information.

Connemaras

Having competed very successfully with Connemaras for several years we were keen to encourage the breeding of top quality performance ponies. The same strict criteria have been applied to the selection of our Connemara stallion and we are happy to say that Song Of Freedom is fulfilling his initial promise.

Mares

An impressive group of mares are resident at Ballinteggart and many have already bred champions in various disciplines including Bushmills, Never Will, Ridgeviews Triple Gold, Silken Crisp. See mares page for more details
Occasionally mares are available for sale.
